Abe brings to the Hilco Asset Sales team over twenty years of expertise in joint venture opportunities, debt and equity raises, and consulting for top industry executives in the real estate and financial markets. Initially with Hilco Redevelopment Partners, Abe supported their asset management team overseeing a $4 billion portfolio and re-positioning of both operating companies and real estate assets that have run their useful life.

Abe began his career with Merrill Lynch and has worked in both corporate governance and investor relations in Latin America, as well as derivative arbitrage between electronic platforms and the open-outcry trading floors of the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchanges. Building on his banking and real estate career, Abe has been fortunate along the way to develop and sit on the Board of successful real estate startup and technology companies.

Abe received his B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Lake Forest College, and also studied in Spain and Chile to earn minors in Politics and Spanish. He continued on to earn an MBA in Finance and International Business at Loyola and University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he studied between Rome, Bangkok and Belize City.
