Prior to joining Hilco, Dan served as Regional Director of Leasing for General Growth Properties, Inc, a publicly-traded REIT and the nation’s second largest owner of regional shopping centers. In his nine years with GGP, while working on existing properties in the context of major redevelopments, and in preparation for ground-up construction, Dan strategically assisted in store rollouts and negotiated deals involving millions of square feet of retail space, with an array of tenants that included Forever 21, Coach, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Circuit City, Hilton, Barnes & Noble, Chili’s and Panera Bread.

Dan earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science, with honors, from the University of Northern Iowa, and has recently received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University’s School of Law in Chicago.
